PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SECTION REGARDING THE CANDIDATE'S PERFORMANCE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING SCALE:

Please rate the intern according to the following scale:

Unacceptable: The candidate's performance in this area falls short of that required for satisfactory performance by a methods level candidate.

Developing: The candidate shows progress toward mastery of the skill or disposition but needs additional work before consistently competent performance is attained. A rating of "developing" suggests to the SU instructor and mentor teacher that the candidate may need to attain special mentoring or support in this area.

Acceptable: The candidate demonstrates competent performance in this area. The SU instructor and the mentor teacher for this candidate should expect satisfactory performance with normal mentoring and support.

Target: The candidate demonstrates consistently excellent performance in this area. The SU instructor and mentor teacher notes proficient performance in this skill or disposition immediately with minimal support and mentoring.

No Opportunity to Observe: This is a non-judgemental response, suggesting that the rater was not able to be present to observe the skill or disposition, or that the setting for this field experience did not afford an opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate a particular skill or disposition.
